My New Favorite Window Propagation Vase for Spider Plant Babies

I’ll be the first to admit… you absolutely don’t need a fancy propagation vase to root a spider plant baby. A simple glass jar works just fine.

But when I came across this little heart-shaped window vase, I couldn’t resist. 💜 It lets you watch the roots develop while adding a little charm to the window, and I thought it was just too cute not to share.

One of my favorite things about propagating spider plants is watching those bright white roots slowly grow longer each day. With the clear glass, you can enjoy the entire rooting process instead of hiding it inside a pot.

The heart hangs directly on the window with suction cups, making it a fun way to display a spider plant baby while it develops its root system. It also doesn’t take up any windowsill space, which is a nice bonus if your windows are already full of plants like mine usually are!

I’ve only had it set up for a short time, but so far I’m really impressed with how it looks. I’ll be sharing updates as the roots grow, so we’ll get to see just how well it works over the next few weeks.

If you’re like me, you’ll probably end up stopping by the window every day just to check on those little roots. 🌿💚

I’ll post another update once the roots really start filling the heart. I have a feeling it’s going to look even prettier in a few weeks!

Conclusion

I already have plenty of ways to propagate spider plant babies, but this little heart-shaped window vase was just too cute to pass up. It lets you watch the roots develop while turning a simple propagation into a pretty piece of window décor.

If you’re looking for a fun way to display your spider plant babies or other small cuttings, I think this vase is a great choice. I’ll definitely be keeping mine filled with new propagations!
